The Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach will run between 4 to 14 April.
Melbourne Winter Masterpieces – Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion – ACMI Melbourne
Featuring never before seen costumes, original sketches, interactive experiences and famous cinematic props – Goddess celebrates the women and gender transcending superstars in cinema.
From Marilyn Monroe to Cate Blanchett and Zendaya, the exhibition explores the roles that shattered conventional norms and challenged narratives.
Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion will appear at ACMI between 5 April and 1 October.
Melbourne International Comedy Festival – Melbourne and Greater Melbourne
If you’re up for a laugh, you’ve come to the right place.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival will be dishing out rib ticklers across Melbourne, featuring the very best comedy acts from Australia and around the world.
There are performances and acts for all ages.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival will be in town from 29 March to 23 April.
Castlemaine State Festival – Castlemaine
The Castlemaine State Festival is back and bigger than ever.
Spanning 17 days, the festival promises a stacked program including performances, music, talks, visual arts and family friendly events.
The Castlemaine State Festival will run from 24 March to 9 April.
Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival – Daylesford and Macedon
Experience the beautiful Macedon Ranges in Autumn this year.
The festival boasts a month-long program full of farmers markets, curated trails (such as the Autumn Pie and Tart Trail), open gardens and events held across nine colourful and historic villages.
The Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival will offer free and ticketed events from 1 to 30 April.
Clarice Beckett: Atmosphere – Geelong
Explore the captivating work of Australian artist Clarice Beckett at the Geelong Gallery.
Regarded as one of Australia’s most important painters of the interwar period, Clarice Beckett is famous for portraying subtle and misty landscapes of Melbourne suburbs.
The exhibition will present key works from 1919 to the early 1930s, which feature the surroundings of Beaumaris and Melbourne streetscapes, from 1 April.
Good Friday SuperClash – Marvel Stadium, Melbourne
The Good Friday SuperClash is back for its sixth year with North Melbourne facing Carlton at Marvel Stadium.
The game will raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal, with $5 from every adult ticket sold going toward the Appeal’s mission to upgrading equipment, training staff, and funding medical research to improve care at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
